Premium Vertical Mobility · GCC

Three upgrade tiers. Right-sized to the building.

Tier 1
Controller-only

Replace controller, dispatch, and signalling. Restores code compliance and improves ride control. 5–7 days downtime per elevator.

Tier 3
Full modernization

Drive + controller + cabin + doors + safety system. Effectively a new elevator inside the existing shaft. 21–28 days downtime per elevator.

Benefits across every tier.

  • 30–50% energy reduction typical with VVVF drives and regenerative recovery.
  • Smoother ride quality; quieter operation; reduced lobby noise.
  • Full compliance with current EN 81-20/50 safety standards.
  • Renewed cabin interior — finishes brought up to current premium standards.
  • Modern fixtures, signalling, and accessibility features.
  • Reduced ongoing maintenance cost — modern components are cheaper to service.
  • 24-month warranty on every modernized component.
  • Modernization can be partial (selected elevators in a bank) or complete (whole building).

Done in occupied buildings, with minimal disruption.

Modernization is planned around your building's occupancy. For multi-elevator banks, we modernize one elevator at a time so the building always has working vertical transport. For single-elevator buildings, we coordinate temporary access alternatives (stair access for low-rise, scheduled work windows for high-rise) and complete each phase as quickly as the equipment allows.

The free modernization audit.

Before any modernization quote, we conduct a free on-site audit: a senior engineer inspects every elevator in the building, documents current condition, identifies code gaps, calculates current energy consumption, and recommends the right tier per unit. The audit takes 2–3 hours per building and is delivered as a written report with photos within 5 working days.

FAQ

Modernization — common questions.

Common indicators: installation before 2015, rising maintenance costs, slow ride, persistent breakdowns, lack of regenerative drive, or building energy audit flagging vertical transport as a major consumer. Our free modernization audit gives you a written diagnostic with recommended tier per elevator.

Most Tier 2 modernizations (drive + controller) pay back in 4–7 years through energy savings alone, before factoring reduced maintenance cost and avoided risk of major component failure. Tier 1 (controller-only) typically pays back in 2–3 years.

Yes. Our modernization team works with most major OEM legacy installations as well as orphaned equipment from manufacturers no longer present in the region.

No. Modernization is planned around occupancy. In multi-elevator banks we work one elevator at a time so the building always has working vertical transport. Single-elevator buildings are coordinated with temporary access alternatives.

From audit to start of work: typically 4–8 weeks for Tier 1, 8–12 weeks for Tier 2, 12–16 weeks for Tier 3 (mainly driven by component manufacturing lead times).

Most pre-2015 elevators are losing 30–50% on energy.

A free 2-hour audit gives you a written diagnostic and tier recommendation per elevator. Zero obligation.
