Premium Vertical Mobility · GCC

Built for cargo, finished for the building it sits in.

Freight and service elevators on regional projects are often treated as commodity equipment — an afterthought to the passenger system. AuroLift treats them as core infrastructure: rated to handle continuous duty cycles, finished for back-of-house operational rigor, and engineered against the same code standards as our premium passenger systems.

Capabilities at a glance.

  • Capacities from 1,000 to 5,000 kg, with bespoke configurations available for heavier loads.
  • Reinforced cabin floors (steel plate or non-slip chequer), kick-resistant wall panels, stainless or galvanized finishes.
  • Door configurations: centre-opening, side-opening, vertical bi-parting, and 2- or 4-panel telescopic for wide openings.
  • Hospital-bed and stretcher-rated configurations with extended cabin lengths and silent-running door operators.
  • Integration with dock-loading systems, material-handling equipment, and BMS scheduling.
  • VVVF drives sized for continuous duty in 50°C ambient conditions.
  • Anti-collision strips, full-height photocell sensors, and overload sensing per EN 81-20/50.
  • Heavy-traffic AMC plans included from day one.

Typical use cases.

Industrial & logistics

Warehouse mezzanine handling, factory floor transfers, dock-side loading. Capacities to 5,000 kg with reinforced flooring for forklift entry where required.

Hospitality back-of-house

Room-service, linen, kitchen, and staff circulation — separated from guest passenger systems to protect the hospitality experience.

Healthcare

Bed elevators with stretcher-rated dimensions, silent door operators, and NFPA-compliant emergency operation. Redundant configurations standard on critical floors.

Retail & mall service

Tenant-fit-out delivery, refuse handling, anchor-store stock circulation — sized to the mall's heaviest tenant brief.

Process — from BoQ to commissioning.

  1. Brief. Share BoQ, drawings, or specification. We confirm capacity, door type, and code envelope within 24 hours.
  2. Proposal. Detailed BoQ, technical submittal, fixed pricing, and indicative delivery schedule.
  3. Manufacturing & submittal. Civil Defence submittal prepared in parallel with manufacturing.
  4. Installation & commissioning. Certified crews, load tests at 125% rated capacity, full safety-test documentation.
  5. Service. Heavy-traffic AMC kicks in at handover with monthly inspection cycles.

FAQ

Freight elevators — common questions.

For warehouse and factory applications, 2,000–3,500 kg covers most loads including pallet trucks and small forklifts. For hospital bed lifts, 1,600 kg with a stretcher-rated cabin is the common spec. For hotel back-of-house service, 1,000–1,600 kg is typical. Our engineering team sizes the right configuration during the proposal stage.

Yes. Freight and service elevators typically share the same shaft cluster as passenger systems but are configured for back-of-house access and continuous duty. We design for the building, not for the elevator in isolation.

Hospital bed elevators are a specialized freight/service configuration with extended cabin length (typically 2,400+ mm), silent door operators, NFPA-compliant emergency operation, and redundant power systems. We deliver these as part of our healthcare solutions vertical.

On request, yes. Steel-plate or chequer-plate flooring with reinforced sub-frame can be specified for forklift entry, with appropriate capacity rating and impact protection.
